Rest? Recover? Prepare?

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

What to do?  It’s snowing.  Should you consider your goals for the new year?  Should you ski?  Should you ice climb?

Should you eat?  Hone your nutrition goals for the new year?  Practice with your new dehydrator?

Should you recover and prepare for the New Year’s Eve Massacre?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Athletic and Beautiful

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Tabata Tuesday.  Boy do we have a deal for you!  What’s it going to take to get you in a Tabata today?!?

Push ups, sit ups, hangs, squats.

We captured this image during the deadlift portion of yesterday’s big adventure.  Genetics, you say?  Hard work, we say?  Actually, a bit of both.

Please enjoy this photo as much as we have.  Strong, beautiful, athletic…go hard or go home.

Train Hard. Fight Easy

Monday, December 28th, 2009

“If you prepare for the worst then you’ll always be ready unless the worst for which you prepare isn’t really bad at all.  Where does this leave us.”

A sentiment from Solista.  What are you preparing for in the coming year?  Start your planning now so you can hit the new year running hard.  Better yet, hit it hard today, and get pointed in the right direction early.

20 Deadlift

20 pull ups

15 Back squats

30 push ups

10 Front squats

40 sit ups
