A Little Lower Body Love

Someone’s nesting :)!

Aimee is getting ready for our next lil' crossfitter by nesting and making sure the entry way is cleared for her (I'm going with the "it's a girl" theory ... but really I have no clue).

Lots of lower body love at the box today … few things I like more than push up and deadlift combos!

5 Handstand Push Ups
10 Deadlifts 225 lb/135 lb.

Cash Out:
Weighted Pull Ups

OR

Negative Pull Ups*

*Hold yourself at the top of the bar for as long as you can (it does not matter how you get to the top of the bar … stand on a freaking box and jump if you need to … that isn’t the point of this exercise). As your muscles/grip start to give, lower yourself as slowly as possible until you are at full extension. Do this as many times as possible. This is a fantastic approach for improving pull ups (you can take the same approach with handstand push ups). In fact, you’ll most likely increase pull up strength faster than with bands.
