AMNAP? Really? Ok, then …

As the fourth best coach at our gym (yep, Martha has already surpassed me … sigh), I don’t question the genius of Alan’s programming but must admit I was a little thrown today at 8:15. But, never one to challenge the head honcho, we pressed on with a pretty brutal WOD.

8:15 Party

5 Minute AMNAP (As Many Naps as Possible)
Rest 2 minutes  between each nap

Most people were able to do this at Rx but LaVonne and Nick had some trouble, as you’ll see in the photo below, so we modified them to a foam roller pillow (LaVonne) and a padded mat/ABMAT pillow (Nick). Still everyone went hard but, for once, came out of the WOD feeling quite rested and refreshed.

Really disappointed in Nick and LaVonne for having to mod this workout. Everyone else went hard … way to go 8:15 Party!

For some reason, the 6:00 AM Party did this:

5 Knees to Elbow

Stupid over-achieving 6:00 AM Party!

    I’m glad you were there, Craig. This one required a more experienced coach than I. Everyone did a great job.
