Bear Creek Trail Partner Challenge

So, it’s a fall day, the snow hasn’t hit the ground yet, the aspens still have yellow leaves (it’s aesthetically pleasing)…Hmmmmmmmm, what to do.

I know, go over to Telluride and have some fun with the folks from Telluride CrossFit and the folks from Durango CrossFit.  Sweet!

Thanks Andrew for organizing the event, and thanks to Mike and Dustin for being volunteers.  Also to Teresa and Andrew for having a BBQ at their house after the race.  Fun was had by all.

Next stop on our magical fun tour of the San Juans is right here in Ouray.  Stay tuned for details as we work to get another fun event with fun people before the snow sticks to the ground.

If you missed this one, ask those who got out and had some fun.  It was fun and as always when we get together with other groups, we met more fun, like minded people for an afternoon of community.

For us, this event reminds us of our friend TJ Cooper at CrossFit East in Jacksonville, one of the best community builders around.  Your spirit is here, TJ.

Pre-race standby

"I have no doubts!"

Jacob and Benson moving fast

450 pounds of running specialists from Durango

Wall Ball? But, of course.

We will be at the gym at 10 am tomorrow.  Looks like a bit of unsettled weather.  Winter is on the way.

See you then.

HA! That picture makes me look WAY more serious about kicking some ass in that race then I really was! Too funny!

Super fin race! Andrew did a great job organizing the course. Joanie kicked my butt on the uphill and the downhill bit me in the knees, but that is what we call FUN, right??? Whoo hoo. Ready for next time.
