Day Three

So it’s day three.  What new foods or recipe’s have you tried?  If you slipped, was it unintentional?  Or was the piece of chocolate screaming at you so loudly the only way to shut it up was to eat it as quickly as possible?

If you focus on why you are trying to improve your food quality, it may make these temporary changes easier.  And remember…this challenge is six weeks out of your entire life.  How many weeks have you been alive?

Suck it up buttercup.  Have fun with this.  Any recipe’s that were disasters?  Post those as well.

Check out the main site today.  A good picture from the Ice Park.

And finally, if you think you can’t, you can’t.  If you think you can, you can.  Cliche’?  Maybe.  A force of nature?  Probably.  Watch this video.

I put a handful of honey nut cheerios in my mouth totally by impulse while serving DC cereal. I caught myself and spat them out before swallowing. DC and I had a little laugh with that one until he tried to spit out his chewed up cereal a few minutes later.

Otherwise, no slips so far and I am super psyched to be learning new recipes.

I am very happy that I have not run into any screaming chocolate. The true test will be making goodies for the Valentines party at school….

Remaining in the room for the party, too, right? Maybe we should drop off the treats and hit OB’s for those 2 4oz. glasses of wine. :)
