Deadlift

We are in the Coan program, week seven. And, oh what fun it was today. The loads are getting heavy and the focus is becoming form mistakes.

You must do several things when you pick up heavy deadlifts. First and foremost, you must keep your back flat and protected. Second, you must drive your feet into the ground at your mid foot to heel in order to protect your back and keep the weight close. And you must use your posterior.

Doing these things will help.

But also, channel Dusty Lee to tap into your inner demon in order to get that heavy deadlift we are aiming at during this strength cycle.

Tomorrow is a rest day and there is snow on the peaks up high. Get out before the weather changes some more. Not everyone lives in such a great place. Make the most of it.
