Food Challenge: Week 1 Down. 3 To Go!

Well, the first week of our food challenge, “Look Better Naked”, has come and gone.

How are you feeling? Struggling keeping on track?

Keep in mind that the first two weeks of a challenge are typically the most difficult as your body works to rid itself of all the toxins and the like that we’ve, well many of us, consumed leading up to our challenge. A couple of tips for those challenging moments when you really, really, really want a cheat:

  1. Peel and eat a carrot … for me, this always makes me feel full and satisfies my craving for a good while.
  2. Eat a handful of Paleo-approved nuts with a few raisins in it.
  3. Drink water. In fact, this is often the golden rule. Feel hungry? Drink a glass of water and wait 15 minutes. Still feel hungry? Then you can safely eat (i.e., your body is truly hungry).
