Still working those darn squats with the PVC pipe on our spines maintaining three points of contact. It just never gets old working to be better than yesterday. WooHoo!

After a group session of squatting:

Muscle ups

As the alternative to muscle ups, use the muscle up progression. Don’t forget the reason we have alternatives to the actual exercise. We are trying to DO the actual exercise. Sure you can do the muscle up alternative faster and crappier than an actual muscle up, and the pay off will be that you will never learn the proper technique to actually have a muscle up…but you’ll be fast! Super, you’ll be fast!

So if you want to be not only fast, but stronger, faster, healthier, better looking, and more prosperous, first, you must learn to squat. Then you must learn proper technique for the exercises you cannot yet perform, then you can do the exercises you cannot perform. Form, speed, weight…in that order.
