Rest, and the Ice Fest
Run, rest, ski, climb…or get out and enjoy the Ice Fest today. Andres Marin is competing today. He is scheduled to go at 3:20 this afternoon. If you have the chance, get out and cheer for Andres.
Other world class climbers are in town to play and compete. Take the opportunity to see people who have skills us mere mortals may never possess.
And here is a thought from the Gothic Poet. Some days it is enthusiasm that gets us through.

In your list of potential activities why don’t you ever add bedroom aerobics. I hear you mountain people are crazy like that. What do you do when you’ve skiied, climbed, hiked, bobsleded, snowboarded, made snowmen/woman, shoveled snow, hunted, etc. I’m not sure what the population of that little town is but if you would do more matin’ and less training you’d probably boost the economy and create more of demand for valuable services from astute, sea level lovin, city folk such as me. You guys are gonna train yourselves into extinction. Now put all that hard work to some good use! If you didn’t realize it we are in a competition to take over the planet and, unfortunately, dumb people are in the lead. You guys need to get out there give them a run for there money. Watch the first five minutes of idiocracy and you’ll understand. Then turn it off. Trust me.
