Rest Day

For some it is a rest day, for others it is a weightlifting day, and yet others it can be both. Your day depends on you and the decisions you make.

Recovery is important to your training and well being just as much as heavy lifting days, technique days, sleep, hydration, and playing games with friends. The mental and physical training we do at the gym is designed to help you be prepared for anything life throws at you. I have had the opportunity to workout and train recently, after being awake more than 60 hours and I’ve had some of my best workouts during this period.

It has been a matter of deciding that it’s going to be ok and knowing that I’m prepared for whatever ends up in front of me.

Your life and each day is important and both are limited. Make sure you don’t miss something because of an incorrect notion or someone in your life who doesn’t support you being your best. Grab life by the throat and get all you can. Scare yourself today and be your best.

And most of all…Get Some! Go again!
