That’s a lot of Maxes!

It is a GORGEOUS day here in Ouray. If memory serves, and it rarely does, this is what September is supposed to be like. And I’ve missed it. But, it’s here and we won’t know for how long … so get your butts out there and have some fun in the sun!

In the meantime, do a little of this so you are strong enough to go out and play in the awesomeness that is the San Juans.

15x 1 Hang Clean & Jerk* @ 70%
Notes:
1) Two second pause at the hang … then clean
2) Two second pause at the bottom of the dip of the jerk … then jerk.

3 min max double unders
2 min max American KB swings
1 min max double unders
30 sec max pull ups

30 seconds between each effort

*Is it a power or squat clean?
Simple rule. If it doesn’t say “Power” before the word “Clean”, then it’s a Squat Clean. See? Simple :). Also, always squat!!!!!!

P.S. Sorry I love squatting so much right now. Actually, I’m not sorry.
