The final week

One more week of focus to get some at the CrossFit Games Open workouts.  Get ready.

Warm up: row 200, 10 wall ball, 10 pistols, 15 sledgehammer strikes, 10 knees to elbows, and overhead walking lunge 15/25.  Two times, not for time.

Mobility: sit in squat on wall with back on floor, rollie ball on glute.

Then:

Deadlift 3-2-1-1-1-1-1

Good morning 3 x 10

100 doubles unders.  Five burpee penalty for every miss or stop on the way to 100.

Tons of PR’s today from every class.  Some were five pounds, and several were 30 and 35 pounds.  Your hard work on improving form and strength shows on days like today.  Keep pushing hard and more of these days are on the horizon.

Not every day is a PR day.  If today wasn’t your day, be objective and we’ll look at the why.  Was it your form?  Was is your consistency in the preceding month or so?  Were you just having an off day.  Check your data and see if it was your food.  If it’s something you can do by correcting your form or training, we can help.  If you haven’t been showing up…well, that’s up to you.  If you were just having a down day then chalk it up to that.

Not every day is going to be great.  If that was your day today, recognize it and move on.  Wasting time in the negative self talk is counterproductive.  Don’t do it.  Work hard and be ready for tomorrow.  You never know what it will bring.
