We had a nice turnout of ladies at the gym this morning (was the lone dude … thanks assholes fellas) and some good energy for a quick but fun WOD.

Because I don’t give Nick enough fodder to mock me, I wanted to take a moment to be a little sappy and, for once, non-smart-assy and say thank you to each of you. It’s been an exciting transition to coaching for me, but, it would not be so exciting (and fun and awesome) were it not for the amazing people I get to be around and work with. Thank you, all, for being so supportive (of me, of each other, of Hypoxia) and such awesome people … and crossfitters.

We truly are thankful for our awesome little community. So thankful, we forced 7 of you to do the following today … and on a friggin’ holiday, no less!

Thanksgiving WOD

Warm Up:
10 Air Squats
10 Back Squats w/ 45 lb/35 lb. bar
10 Front Squats w/ 45 lb/35 lb. bar
10 Overhead Squats w/ 45 lb/35 lb. bar
25 Double Unders/50 Singles

Mobility:
PNF Hamstring
Hip Flexor on Wall
Calves on Wall
PVC Pass-through

MetCon:
Annie Are You Okay?
Teams of 4 moving through the 5 ‘stations’

15-12-9
Goblet Squats 1.5/1 pood
Diamond Push Ups
Thrusters 65 lb./45 lb.
Stick Jumps 24″/20″
Burpee Pull Ups (rep scheme for these is 9-6-3 for pacing purposes)

We will have a class on Sunday at 9 AM for any who might want to work off a little extra turkey and pumpkin pie (or chocolate pecan pie, if that’s more your thing).
