Victory!

Yes we worked out today and it was a fun one.  However, we had another victory this morning after the workout.

Several people have been working diligently on their muscle ups and have gotten them.  Jackie is the latest.  She wanted no one to watch, but we all did and she pulled, rolled her shoulders over her hands, and viola”!  Muscle up.  Nice job, Jackie!  Your hard work paid off this morning.  Although the quality of the pic is less than stellar, you can see the smile beaming through the fuzziness.

Yes we work hard.  Yes we suffer a bit.  Yes we sweat.  Perhaps the best thing we do is share a part of our day with like minded people and build our community.  CrossFit is not just a workout.  It’s not just improving ourselves physically.  It’s being part of something that makes us better and helps each one of us make someone else better.  We know this everytime someone cheers someone else on or helps someone else celebrate a victory.  It is so much more than JUST a workout.  That being true, it’s still a ton of fun!

    I want to try again for under 4 minutes. Those crossfit.com times are crazy fast. Fun no matter what. Congrats to all the new muscle uppers. It must be time for a muscle up WOD. Just kidding. Seriously. KIDDING!

    Yeah, Martha, that is the kind of workout that makes you want to just do it again…..after the quads recover.
