Weightlifting

Yep, we roll on toward world domination as we pick up heavy stuff during our weightlifting class. Our Band of Merry Weightlifters are getting stronger, faster, and more athletic by preparing for life. If you’re not joining us on Monday at 7 or Wednesday at 6…you should be. It shows during the regular workouts who is practicing and who is not.

Today, as we are suffering the effects of the wall ball shots from the Games Workout 15.3, we have a focus on strength.

Benchpress 7×5 at 75%
Press 5×4 at 75%
Toes to Bar 4×10

It’s awesome that some of us have developed kipping toes to bar during this Games season based on one or two small changes. Now we all can have toes to bar that are as fast and awesome as Jackie’s. It’s so awesome when we learn new things and get good at them!!!
