What’s your Bench?

Found this short post written by Doug Chapman of Hyperfit USA.  I had the good fortune of meeting Doug (and goofing off) at a recent seminar.  Good guy.  I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Mobility: shoulders, internal and external rotation.

Benchpress 5/3/1+ at 75%, 85%, and 95%.

Then:

50 power snatch for time, 55/75.

Some fun things heard the previous week:

“Is this for time?”

“What is a snatch?”

“Ok, if my one rep max is xx pounds, I take 90% of that.  Then I go to my chart and calculate…”

“No blowing bubbles while moving weight!”

“What weight should I use.”

“I looked down and saw that I was on fire, so I put it out and kept going.”

Quite and entertaining week, and it’s only Tuesday.  Great job everyone, so far.
