Good job on the rope climbs, everyone, especially those that felt nervous. A good hard long workout. Woohoo!
That was awesome! ……in a hideous way……or was it hideous in an awesome way? Regardless, glad it’s over! Whew!
That was definitely harder on my brain then on my body (rope burn on my shin not withstanding). It just sucked the whole way through!
I actually enjoyed the burpees….proof that everything else in the workout -really- sucked!!!
These wods are always my favorites! Thanks coach!
Laurie, I just told Khris the same thing, that the burpees were almost enjoyable. I was glad Faith was there encouraging all of us. Thanks Faith!
Sick workout when the burpees are the “easy” part. I felt the same way!
And anyone else notice random red marks and bruises on their legs??? Thanks rope climbs….
well, no official posting yet for sunday – I guess my brain, to protect itself or something, does NOT remember this workout – oh, wait, now I do – YES – it really sucked! But nothing like today’s workout…. Partway through the fourth round, something told me to quit and do only four – but then something said, “quitters never win and winners never quit….” crap….. tried to beat that thought down…. but I did finish five rounds – not sure how, but glad I did…. Now to get my arms up to keyboard height, I have to stand at the desk, rest my hands on the desktop, then sit down and leave my forearms on the desk top…. If I sit down, I can’t get my arms up on the top of the desk to write…. I hope my arms are better Monday so I can slap Alan in the face – otherwise I will probably just have to violently rotate my body and flap my arms about waist high…. any ideas anyone? Maybe hire someone to slap him for me?
