We are at the point in the year where, as a town, we are entering our tourist season and school is out for the kids and all our schedules are changing. You will notice a shift in our programming and we will be focusing a bit more on strength. Don’t be afraid to push yourself and make some gains by trying something you think you may not be able to do.

Always keep in mind that our number one priority is getting better while being safe and effective. Every so often you have all heard, “CrossFit hurts people.” We know that is an uninformed statement. People get hurt by exercising with poor form or taking unnecessary risks. Hell, I have dislocated my shoulder rolling out of bed! Genetic weakness? Probably.

So while you are pushing a heavy weight, do so safely and effectively, do your mobility exercises every day, and pay attention to your posture and your form. Be a stronger and better organized athlete every day. Focus on your objectives and your form. Do you have something that needs improvement? Tackle it. Beat it. Own your weaknesses.
