Challenges, old and new

We have one more day left in the month. Did you take up the monthly challenge for October? 50 non stop thrusters. Did you even try? Have you done any of the monthly challenges? If the answer is no, why not?

We do a lot of work, so why would you want to do more? Simple, really. So you can give you best every day. So you can do everything you can to be better. So you can work your weaknesses.

How about the November challenge? What’s it going to be? BENCHMARK SATURDAY’S.

Are there benchmark workouts you have seen and wanted to perform, but they are missing from the regular programming? Well, this is your chance. We will open the gym every Saturday in November at 9 am so you can choose your workout and get a time or a weight in your logbook for whichever benchmark you have your heart set on. As we are normally closed on Saturday, there is a $15 charge for the month to participate. The only requirement is that you write your name on the board, list the benchmark performed, and what your time or weight or score is that day. And, if you get it done, you will get a reward for your effort if you participate in at least two of the four Saturday’s.

Go ahead and commit to the hard work.

First though, step up and complete the October Challenge. If you are thinking about it, what is holding you back? Doubt? Fear? Action alone will overcome doubt.
