Checking In

It’s been almost a week since we began our food challenge.  How are you progressing?  Are you hungry?  Eat more.  Are you thirsty? Drink more.  Are you tired?  Sleep more.  If you are keeping a food journal, you are better able to determine how things are progressing and where you can make adjustments.

What about your 500 meter row monthly challenge?  Is your stroke improving or are you frustrated while trying to be more efficient and it’s difficult to overcome the urge to just grip it and rip it?  Stick with it.  Lindsay showed us a few drills and how we should be driving and finishing our stroke.  Keep focused on the objective and the frustration turns to elation.

A final note to all who may be interested, Jacob with CrossFit Durango will be hosting an open house and “fun event” next Saturday, January 22.  Rally and lets take as many as we can for the fun.  We don’t know the “fun event” details but it is sure to be just like the one’s we attended in Montrose, Telluride, and here.  Plus, it is a great opportunity to see our friends at the other gyms throughout the San Juan’s and have good fun…and good food…with a group of like minded folks.  See the event information and registration here, Durango Open House
