Play day for skill

Handstand push ups are difficult for most of us. Spend today practicing your form as a strict or modified movement. If you’re feeling especially sparky, you can try the movement with the CrossFit Games standard and with a kip. Use the boxes and step into the device for some additional movement. Have some fun with this.

Also and important skill is learning to engage your posterior chain. The box squat is a move that exposes weakness in the posterior but also teaches us how to use our hams and glutes. So, today we practice. We get under a light to moderate load and just get in three or four reps at a time and learn the movement and our bodies better.
