Rest Day

It’s a day off here in our little slice of heaven.  As the summer rush is right around the corner, enjoy the lull while you can and make the most of the longer days.  Forecast is for rain and snow over the next few days…not sure what will actually happen.

The new CrossFit Games Open wod 11.3 is posted and it is AMRAP five minutes, 165#110# squat clean and 165#/110# jerk.  We’ll be practicing the movement this week and then performing the workout on Saturday at the gym at 9 am with judges and counters verifying the count and the movement.  Yep, it’s pretty heavy, but you can do it.  There are several variations of the movement that will suffice, so get your game face on and be ready to give it your best.  Too heavy for you?  Maybe, maybe not.  We overcome doubts and fears everyday at the gym, so suck it up, buttercup, and be ready to go.  Fortune favors the bold!
