Heavy, and another update from Mel

Mel, you crack us up.  Keep working hard and hurry home.

“Not too much new and exciting since my last message. The weather is

turning cooler – haven’t had any sub zero mornings yet but I have a

feeling they aren’t far off. Let’s see, things the kids have learned…

1. yes, salamanders can drive bulldozers and they can fly (really far

if you twirl around before letting go)

2. WWF smack down makes just as much sense (or nonsense) to a three

year old as it does to an adult but neither can seem to look away.

3. The days here, despite the low horizon, will soon be shorter than

those in Ouray. sniff.

4. We can draw a map of how to get here from Ouray in the Driveway

with sidewalk chalk.

5. Minnesota boys can wear pink shirts and purple boots and still be

tuff.”

And now, on to the work of the day.

Squat 5 @ 75%

3 @ 85%

1+ @ 95%

Then:  Three rounds for time:

21 Russian KB swings

15 box jumps

9 pull ups

Finally, a quick note about our nutrition challenge.  Only ten days left, plenty of time to finish strong.  Who will win?  The photo’s will tell.
