Old friend

That’s right, our old friend the deadlift.  And I was reminded yesterday by a friend, the deadlift and the squat fix everything…so…we deadlift.

Deadlift 5/3/1+ at 75%, 85%, 95% of one rep max.

We are having a huge portion of people moving weights at or near their previous one rep max lifts at multiple reps.  We can only assume that this stuff really works.  Last Friday, Roger did six reps of his previous one rep max benchpress.  Holy moly you say?  We say, nice work, Roger.  Could it also be that he made a convincing argument to the bar that it should move more times than previously thought?  Possibly, but it was more likely that the hard work of the last four months is paying dividends in the form of higher strength.

15-10-7  Ball up

Our December challenge is to get as many double unders in a row as possible before missing or stopping.  Everyone will have a number even if it is zero or one.  You have until December 10 to put your first number on the board.  Go for the top five and you get to erase one of the current leaders.  What is your number?

    Definitely stronger! Plus 20 pounds today. So that’s my excuse for 10 extra pounds on the body and I’m stickin’ to it !!!!!????
