You Know What’s Fun? Squats are Fun.

We are back to our regularly scheduled pain program and that must include squats, right?

That’s right … squats are fun, dammit, and I challenge any of you to prove me wrong. Barb tried this morning and she learned pretty quickly what it’s like to take me on, right Barb (just lie for me, Barb … it makes me seem awesomer)?!?!

Warm Up:
2x
5 Ring Dips
10 Push Ups
15 Squats

Group Work:
Clean progression with PVC
Squats with PVC on the spine

Mobility:
PVC pass-through
PNF Hamstring
Shoulders on bands
Hip Flexor on wall

Max Effort:
Hi-bar Back Squats
5x 3 @ ~70% of 1RM

MetCon:
21-15-9
Power Cleans 135 lb./95 lb.
Pull Ups

Remember that it’s contest time in January … the most workouts for the month will be crowned King and Queen of the gym (but with my sock collection, I know that no one else is going to take the title Queen of the Gym from me!). So, if you missed your daily WOD, get your butts out in that awesome snow and have a play!
