You Thought Our WOD Was Tough?

Howdy Hypoxia CrossFitters!

Craig here. Over the coming months you will start to see some posts from both Brian and myself, as well as our regular posts from Alan. We’ve got some really exciting things on tap for the remainder of 2012 and beyond. I will be publishing a couple information articles about our upcoming events and challenges later today.

In the meantime, let’s get into the goodness that was Thursday’s WOD and throw in a shout out to a couple of our ‘special’ CrossFitters who took it to another level today at 6 AM.

For the 6 AM and 8:15 AM Parties …

Warm Up:
2x
5 Roll Up Squats
10 Toes to Bar
30 second Handstand Hold
20 Sledgehammer Swings

Mobility:
Hip flexor on wall
Shoulders on bands

Max Effort:
Shoulder Press
7x 2

MetCon:
4x
7 Power Cleans @ 135 lb./95 lb.
10 Push Ups
13 Sit Ups

But, for the soon-to-be-SEAL and general bad-ass crowds, we had this little doozy on tap:

Run to River and wash weight vest and hair.
Then …

Run 800 meters
75 Thrusters @ 75 lb.
800 meter Farmer Carry with a 1.5 pood kettle bell (1.5 pood = 53 lb.)
75 Squats
Run 800 meters
75 Pull Ups
800 meter Farmer Carry with a 1.5 pood kettle bell (1.5 pood = 53 lb.)
75 Power Cleans @ 75 lb.

Yeah, that one has a lot of suck in it. Way to go Steven and Kevin!

Now get out there and make the most of your Thursdays!
