Enzymes, EFA’s and Probiotics

This is LisR…In reading the Robb Wolf stuff I saw that he recommends taking enzymes, EFA’s and probiotics.  Anyway, I have been taking all that for a few years and after trying several kinds I found brands I like.

Source Naturals Enzymes -this contains enzymes to break down protien, fats, carb, fiber and milk sugar
Carsons Fish Oil – This is free of mercury, cadmium, lead and other bad stuff.  I take 4 a day which gives me 1200 mg EPA and 800 mg DHA.  I believe that is the recommended dose for decreasing inflammation.
Pearls – These are probiotics that don’t need to be refrigerated and are very inexpensive.  After trying several brands, I found these to be the most effective.

You can find them all on Vitacost  – http://www.vitacost.com/

They have great prices and fast shipping.

Yea…for LisR and yea for enzymes!
Raw foods (veggies, fruit, nuts) have a good amount of enzymes, too. If you’re not into supplements, fresh out of the juicer veggie juice is a great way to fill up your body’s enzyme bank quickly. Especially green juices…wheatgrass, chard, spinach, etc. That’s my two cents. Blood health = body health and enzymes are great for the blood. But be careful…the vampires might be watching.

oh…Kombucha is great as well. If you don’t know what it is do a google search. I have found it to be wonderful for digestion. Some folks don’t like the taste, but I think it’s great.
